I also had Nick from American out earlier to our house to replace a capacitor on our old failing system, and he was quick and honest about the job. I wanted to hear his take on our job. He ended up recommending equipment that is much stronger, more efficient (DC vs AC), and it is seamlessly integrated with the rest of our smart home. All for about $8k less than the other bids we were getting. I even got a roll-around AC unit for my garage/shop as part of the deal.
